
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Walmart and Sam’s Club’s 12th annual Fight Hunger, Spark Change campaign is returning this month to benefit the High Plains Food Bank.
A news release states the campaign aims to provide people facing hunger with access to food and resources needed to thrive.
The campaign will run in stores from March 1-31.

Shoppers can participate in several ways:
- Donating at check-out in stores or rounding up on Walmart’s website or app.
- Buying participating products in store or on the Walmart website and Sam’s Club website.
- For every purchase of a participating product, the supplier will donate the monetary equivalent of at least one meal of Walmart’s food bank partner and five meals at Sam’s Club.

“We are glad to partner with Walmart once again to help us fight food insecurity on the High Plains. With over 12,000 households on average served each month, food insecurity rates are the highest they have ever been,” said Zack Wilson, High Plains Food Bank executive director.
