Officials responding to fire at oriental food market on Amarillo Boulevard

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Officials are currently responding to a fire at Dong Phuong Oriental Food.

The grocery store is located at 2218 E Amarillo Boulevard.

According to the Amarillo Fire Department, the fire started in pallets outside of the market.

The fire then spread to a shipping container.

The Amarillo Fire Department says the Amarillo Police Department evacuated some houses to the south of the market before firefighters
