LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – The City of Lawton will begin demolishing the Greer Park Kids Zone on March 4.
It will take three days to take it down according to the city.
After demolition, they will be building a new play “Kids Zone.”
The park will be closed for at least three months to complete the upgrades and the area will be marked as a construction zone for safety purposes.
Once complete, the park should reopen by mid-June.
