
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting that happened over the weekend.
Jermaine Jones, 52, was arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for manslaughter.
The shooting happened around 7:07 p.m. in the 5500 block of McClelland Drive.
According to BRPD, Jones shot and killed Kedreon Robinson, 23, after having a verbal argument in the parking lot of Hollywood Food Mart, which is near Hollywood Street. Robinson died at the scene.
Police said Jones has an arrest history for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.
This is an ongoing investigation.
