Some of the best food trucks in America? Yeah, Washington’s got that covered.

The restaurant reviews platform Yelp recently ranked the top 100 food trucks in the nation in 2025, finding the “most drool-worthy, finger-licking, lip-smacking, chef-driven food trucks that Yelpers are raving about.”

Washington is home to three trucks on Yelp’s all-time list, which “identified businesses in the food truck category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors.”

42. El Fat Cat Grill

Location: 539 N. Edison, Kennewick, Washington

This food truck is a “family-owned and operated restaurant that is passionate about the food we cook and serve.” The truck is painted with the slogan, “Not Your Ordinary Mexican Food,” and serves up a selection of tacos, burritos, chilaquiles and cheeseburgers.

El Fat Cat Grill has a 4.8-star rating on Yelp. A patron from Bend, Oregon, wrote on June 26: “Great pineapple salsa! Got a few tacos and a smoky bandito burger. The burger was tender, cheesy, bacony.”

52. Xochi

Location: 145 NW Gilman Blvd., Issaquah, Washington

This food truck has been here before. It took the No. 1 spot in Yelp’s top 25 places to eat on Seattle’s Eastside in 2022. It serves traditional Mexican braised dishes. Single tacos are served on 5-inch tortillas.

Xochi has a 4.8-star rating on Yelp. One reviewer from Bellevue wrote on May 9: “The reviews don’t lie, these tacos are some of the best – if not the best – tacos I’ve had in WA. I loved the chicken taco, steak taco, papas.”

100. P&J’s Waffle Delight

Location: 306 134th St. S, Tacoma, Washington

Operated by the husband-and-wife team of Paige and James Meeks, this establishment isn’t shy about the quality of its food, claiming on its website that it offers “the best chicken and waffles in the Pacific Northwest.”

P&J’s fosters a “Sucka Free Environment,” so “leave the drama at home” and get a taste of its original fried chicken and waffles, sliders and more.

P&J’s has a 4.9-star rating on Yelp. A customer from Issaquah wrote on May 2: “Probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten, honestly. Great people running it too. New spot has an indoor seating area.”
