Free meal boxes available for Vermont kids

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – In addition to free meals for kids this summer, the Burlington School District will soon offer free, seven-day meal boxes.

Starting at the end of July, children can get a weekly meal box with seven breakfasts and seven lunches.

Those boxes will be available for pickup on Wednesdays, July 30, August 6 and August 13 at the Intervale Center at 180 Intervale Road in Burlington.

You can sign up for reminders to help with planning.

The district started providing free meals to children this month at four spots in the city.
