LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Distribution at the Lawton Food Bank will be closed temporarily on July 1, due to unexpected flooding.

A plumbing issue at the Lawton Food Bank has resulted in flooding and the area and will be closed tomorrow to work towards cleaning up the area.

Officials are working to resolve the issue and are accepting volunteers and supply donations to help with clean-up efforts.

Food bank officials say that they would greatly appreciate supplies, such as mops, buckets, and gloves.
