Food Trucks and Live Music Kick Off the Summer Season at the Feed Lot Grand Opening

For all who drove past the Feed Lot, at 4893 E Harbour Ct in Monticello, IN, on Friday, June 27th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, the sounds of live music and smells of fresh food had heads turning like crazy all night long. Drivers all night long were showing their interest in this event through honking, waving, slowing, down, and even turning around to see what it was all about.

For those who don’t know yet, the Feed Lot is a property located across the street from the Indiana Beach Inlet with a view of coasters that will host food trucks of many different cuisines.

This grand opening event was the perfect way to introduce this to the community with entertaining music with Nick Green, bounce houses and games for kids, and food/drink vendors.

With free parking, admission, and entertainment, quite a few community members and visitors turned out to sample anything from quesa birrias and jerk chicken to gourmet lemonades and gooey brownies.

Those 21+ were able to enjoy anything on draft to Sangria Slushees from Fred & Friends Traveling Tavern, who exclusively scheduled the event.
