PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A rescue is underway to help a family experiencing heat issues on South Mountain in Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.
The Phoenix Fire Department’s technical rescue team is currently heading up the South Mountain Water Tank trail after it was reported that a mother and her five children needed help getting down the mountain due to heat issues.
The family is currently located a quarter of the way up the trail. It is not known how long they’ve been on the mountain.
