My son is obsessed with watching tiny baking videos on YouTube (sigh, I know), so when I surprised him with this kit, you can only imagine how excited he was. We had to open it and “bake” IMMEDIATELY. I’m admittedly not a great chef (or even a good one, TBH), and crafts are my downfall, but even I was able to dive into this with my 3-year-old. He had the best time mixing, pouring, and “baking” his cake in the microwave. He learned to be patient and wait for his cake to cool before frosting and decorating his creation. And, of course, loved eating it. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon, and I’ll definitely be breaking this out during the next heat wave when my kid needs some stimulation indoors.
