Knoxville food pantry asking for help as supplies dwindle

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Knoxville food pantry is asking for extra help as it says it’s critically low on several staple items.

The KAPA Kitchen Food Pantry is run by the Knoxville Academy of Medicine Foundation.

“Right now, our need is greater than ever,” said Rob Patrick, Executive Director of the Knoxville Academy of Medicine Foundation. “We’re seeing more families reach out for help, and we simply don’t have enough food to meet the growing demand.”
