
Nine total local food trucks were named on Yelp’s “Top 100 Food Trucks in the U.S. of 2025” list.
AUSTIN, Texas — Several Austin food trucks are getting national recognition – just in time for National Food Truck Day on Friday.
Yelp just released its “Top 100 Food Trucks in the U.S. of 2025” list, including nine trucks located right here in Austin.
Jim’s Smokehouse, located in the Rock House Bar and Trailer Park in the Four Points area, ranked No. 2 on the list, behind only Tony’s Catch in Kauai, Hawaii.
T-Loc’s Sonora Hot Dogs also made the Top 10, coming in at No. 8. The hot dog haven is located in the 5000 Burnet trailer park off Burnet Road.
Paprika ATX, a taco truck located near Michi Ramen and Stiles Switch BBQ, off North Lamar Boulevard, came in at No. 19; Bodhi Viet Vegan, located off West Parmer Lane, came in at No. 23; and West 30th Street Peruvian food truck Ceviche7 came in at No. 30.
Taco trucks Buenos Sabores and Granny’s Tacos came in at No. 48 and No. 58, respectively. You can find Buenos Sabores off North FM 620 and Granny’s Tacos on East Seventh Street.
Another taco truck, Flavia’s Kitchen, located not far from Snooze on South Lamar Boulevard, came in at No. 68. And just behind it at No. 69 was Brazilian food truck Boteco, located in The Picnic Food Truck Park off Barton Springs Road.
In the list, Yelp also noted some of the top food truck trends. The website noted that “mobile kitchens are bringing talented chefs to local neighborhoods, where they’re cooking up gourmet meals and creative new dishes at affordable prices.” Yelp also said food truck diners crave comfort food fusion.
