Community bank Spencer Savings Bank said Anthony Persaud was appointed as financial center manager in Elizabeth at 618 Bayway Ave. Persaud is responsible for leading and managing customer relationship development, local community engagement and the day-to-day operations of the bank’s Elizabeth financial center, located at 618 Bayway Avenue.
“Anthony has almost 20 years of experience in the financial industry – driving business growth and building strong community relationships,” said George Celentano, executive vice president and chief retail officer. “We are proud of the work he is doing in the Elizabeth community, including the strong relationships he is building there and the broader Union County area.”
Prior to joining Spencer, he held the title of vice president, branch manager at Citi, as well as senior roles at a global financial institution. Spencer said Persaud is highly skilled in branch operations, team leadership and management, customer relationship building, and business development.
Persaud resides in Middlesex County with his family. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and volunteering in his community supporting local rotary clubs and chambers of commerce.
