‘NEBRASKALand Days Kids Fun Fest’ brings big smiles to Wild West Arena

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – The NEBRASKALand Days Kids Fun Fest was in full swing Tuesday at the Wild West Arena.

Multiple organizations set up booths aimed at getting kids excited about new hobbies and programs designed for younger generations.

Kids had the chance to explore fresh interests while enjoying interactive activities.

Caitlyn Jacobson, 4-H Youth Development Director, was at the free event to spark interest in joining 4-H.

“We are doing face tattoos and a 4-H trivia wheel. We’ve had a really great turnout of kids. The weather has been nice and cooler compared to what it was this last weekend. It’s been a nice little break and it’s been perfect weather for the kids to come out and just have fun,” Jacobson said.

And it wasn’t just games and trivia drawing the crowd.

“They also have jumping houses out here. There are a lot of different games going on that the organizations are offering. There is always a lot of stuff going on, just meet friends and see new and old ones,” Jacobson said.
