New store provides affordable option for kids’ clothes and more

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – While children’s clothing has gone up in price, a new local business is helping keep it affordable.

Second Snaps is a secondhand kids’ clothing and more store in downtown Minot.

Owner Zach Lutz said, having kids of his own, he noticed how expensive things were and often shopped at Grow with Me. That store recently closed.

He added it was time for a career change.

“We’re wanting to bring all those goods in that can really add up for you when you first have a kid or you’re changing out outfit sizes, we wanted to have those options for you, all the way up to youth XL,” said Lutz.

Lutz said they do accept donations of gently used items, but only need boys’ items at this time.

Donations can be dropped off during business hours.

Second Snaps is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
