Food Share in Ventura County helps feed families in need

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) — One organization in Ventura County is key in the effort to feed families in need. Food Share distributes donated meals to nonprofit organizations that make sure the meals go to the right people.

At Food Share in Oxnard, they’re on a mission to make sure no one goes hungry in Ventura County.

“There are so many people who are in need for food at this time. Now more than ever, we can use the community’s support.” Said Monica White, the president and CEO of Food Share Ventura County.

Food Share provides free groceries to 180 different nonprofits, including key partners like the Salvation Army.
