LOS ANGELES (WRGB) — The Kids’ Choice Awards is set to break away from the traditional award show format, opting instead for the biggest slime party ever.
The awards, happening Saturday night at 8 p.m., hosted by Tyla, will feature nominees such as Linkin Park, Blink-182, Imagine Dragons, and Coldplay.
The awards bring together talents from music, film, TV, and social media, with the unique twist that kids get to decide who they love and who they think is cool.
Everyone is desperate to be slimed and it’s best when it’s executed as a surprise,” said Nickelodeon Vice President Paul Medford. “So people may think they’re coming to get slimed and not know they’re gonna get slimed and then they get slimed and then they’re like wow.
With the promise of unexpected slime surprises, the event is sure to be a memorable night for both the stars and the audience.
