JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – It’s Food Truck Friday! This time around, Good Morning Region 8 took a trip to Got 2 Be Baked in Jonesboro.
Starr Alvarado, the owner, kicked off her culinary career with baking. She creates elaborate cakes for various occasions.
About a year ago, she decided to expand her vision into a food truck. Starr still sells cake in her truck, in a sandwich format with icing smeared between two slices.
However, her food truck also sells hamburgers, waffle tacos, loaded BBQ and buffalo fries, and more.
She’s known for her blue-colored ranch dressing and creative food options.
When you eat outside Got 2 Be Baked, when it’s on Pleasant Grove Road in Jonesboro, she also has space on her picnic tables for people to write quotes and bible verses.
