Amarillo National Bank offers incentive to donate to Summer Hunger Food Drive

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Brazos Valley Food Bank and KBTX has teamed up with local business for the Summer Hunger Food Drive to help end hunger in the Brazos Valley.

Amarillo National Bank has already donated $10,000 as part of the campaign, and is collecting donations throughout the month of June.

“Amarillo National Bank is a family-owned bank so it’s really in our DNA to support the community. That’s one thing we feel very strongly about is treating our community like we treat our family,” The bank’s Senior Vice President Suzanne Neuberger said.

You’re invited to drop off non-perishable food items or a monetary donation at any Amarillo National Bank location and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card. A winner is drawn every Friday.

The Brazos Valley Food Bank is asking for items like peanut butter, cereal, canned vegetables, and cash donations.
