Level up: Through summer programs, Goblin Forge seeks to help kids find their passion

Kids in Nevada City and surrounding communities don’t always have a lot to do during the summer, especially if their parents—like many—have day jobs that don’t allow them to take their children everywhere they need to be for enrichment.

Enter Guillaume Habekoss, who runs the Goblin Forge, a business that promotes, in his words, “working together and developing cooperative skills. We do it through Dungeons & Dragons at the Miners Foundry. I am also a teacher at Twin Ridges and Forest Charter and have run some after school programs for Grizzly Hill in Camptonville. So it’s all centered around Dungeons & Dragons.”
