Games, prizes, patrol cars and firetruck: Wooster Kids’ Day 2025 packs in the fun

Main Street Wooster’s Kids Day on Saturday caught a break, from Mother Nature that is.

A nice warm day with no rain brought kids in by the hundreds from noon-3 p.m. to the Wayne County Public Library lawn and parking area to check out the stations filled with activities, games, prizes and food.

Kids of all sizes, with parents in tow, went from tent to tent to see what was in store for them.

Lines formed at all the stops to try activities from Connect 4 to face painting and martial arts.

The Wooster Police Department, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Wooster Post of the State Patrol and Wooster Fire Department had personnel, patrol cars, a firetruck and an emergency squad on hand for kids to look at.
