A new all-in-one café is energizing downtown Watkins Glen just in time for the summer crowds. According to WENY News, Central Sip officially opened June 8, offering a mix of coffee, bagels, sandwiches, and ice cream under one roof — and a cozy space to connect.

Owner Raeann Rathbun transformed her former pop-up and food truck into a brick-and-mortar shop where locals and visitors alike can relax, study, or host book clubs. She says building community was always her goal, and early support has made her feel right at home.
With picturesque views, ample seating, and extended hours all week, Central Sip is quickly becoming a favorite along Franklin Street. It’s one of several new additions helping revitalize the village’s dining scene this season.
