Abilene Calf providing many fun activities for kids

The Children’s Art and Literacy Festival is an annual celebration that fosters literacy and nurtures creativity.

This is an integral part of Abilene’s identity as the Storybook Capital of Texas.

Kids also had the opportunity to pet some animals, and even people from out of town came to check out this event and participate in all the fun.

“Oh, this is so neat, the kids love feeding the animals, playing with the goats,” said Abilene visitor Janah Massey. “I think Piper here thinks the goats are the coolest thing ever. This is really cool that we stumbled across this event.”
