Giada De Laurentiis Reveals Jaw-Dropping Career News 2 Years After Leaving Food Network

Giada De Laurentiis is back on TV — and she’s tackling a brand-new element of being in the kitchen.

Food Network fans remember the culinary personality for starring in a plethora of cooking shows over the years. From Everyday Italian to Giada at Home, Giada would teach viewers how to cook recipes that were representative of both her Italian heritage and her personal approach to food as a whole. And if that wasn’t enough, fans have been eagerly waiting for the chance to see Giada back on their screens after she left Food Network in 2023.

Well, the wait is officially over, thanks to a surprise announcement the chef made on Instagram on June 10. Posting a video on Instagram, Giada revealed she’s starring in a new TV show called Giada in the Kitchen. What’s more, folks can start watching new episodes when the show premieres on June 23, 2025 on Amazon Prime Video.

“New kitchen ready for action,” she wrote in the caption. “Giada In My Kitchen premieres June 23.”

As soon as fans learned of Giada’s surprise TV update, they immediately burst out cheering online.

“Congratulations Giada!! This looks spectacular!! 🙌,” one person wrote in the comments. “I can’t wait ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just love Giada❤️,” another exclaimed. “Oh how I have missed @giadadelaurentiis on my tv. This is the best gift I could receive for my upcoming birthday. Yay!” a different follower added.

This is certainly exciting news for Giada at this stage in her career! As for what Giada in the Kitchen will be about, the lifestyle series will see her teaming up with designer Erick Garcia as they give deserving families a kitchen makeover. What’s more, Giada shared with People how fans can expect to see a different side to her when tuning into the show.

“It’s less about cooking and more about transformation,” she told the outlet. “We focus on building dream kitchens from the ground up, incorporating design, construction and of course, every kitchen gadget you could dream of. It’s been so fun.”

Well, we’re marking this on our calendars and can’t wait to see what Giada is cooking up!
