For the ninth summer, Frisco is hosting its Mountain Goat Kids Trail Running Series at the Frisco Adventure Park.
Kids may choose from three distances over the course of the four-race series, ranging from a half mile, a little over one mile and just over three miles. Parents can accompany their kids during the fun run.
As a celebration of their accomplishment, all children will receive a gift as they cross the finish line and light snacks will be offered following the race at the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge. All races are set to take off from the Frisco Nordic Center at 5:45 p.m. Races will take place on Tuesday, June 17, July 1, July 15 and July 29.
Online race registration is open and includes a finisher medal/bracelet, a finisher gift and snacks. All children who are registered for the entire series will receive a Mountain Goat Kids series gift.
Child pre-registration costs $15 per race or $45 for the entire series. Day-of registration will be open from 5-5:30 p.m., with the entry fee being $15.
Since it is a fun run, the race will not be timed. All kids must register to race. Parents can run for free, but must fill out a wavier at registration. For more information on the Mountain Goat Kids Trail Running Series, visit RunTheRockies.com.
Never ask “What should we do this weekend?” again.
