The village of Elkton is ready to welcome the community and visitors back to its annual summer concert series at Veterans Park downtown.
This year’s lineup features six performances with a variety of musical acts and food truck offerings for guests to enjoy. Food trucks were introduced several years ago in response to community feedback and have since become a staple of the series.
“This event is just a great night of family fun,” said Elkton Lions Parks and Rec committee member Agnes Kosinski. “We have a great variety of music, we have different food options available — new this year, we have a couple of new food trucks and a dessert truck.”
Each concert will feature two food vendors: one main meal truck and a dessert option, such as ice cream or sweets. The concerts are free to attend and bring people together downtown.
“It’s a free concert, and we have good-quality music,” Kosinski said. “Bring your lawn chair — it’s great fellowship with other people in the community, seeing people I haven’t seen in a long time.”

The concert series is hosted by the Elkton Lions Parks and Rec, a local volunteer group that organizes family-friendly events throughout the year. The concert series is made possible through support from sponsors.
“We have some great sponsors that help us so we can keep the good quality music coming each year,” Kosinski said.
Food vendors on concert days open up at 5 p.m. and music at 6:30 p.m. located at 57 N. Main St.
