On April 29, the region’s top CFOs and industry leaders gathered at On the Levee to celebrate the honorees in D CEO’s 2025 Financial Executive Awards, presented in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth Dallas-Fort Worth, Financial Executives International, and TXCPA Dallas. The evening began with networking and dinner, followed by a special awards presentation opened by Rhett Taylor, advertising director of D CEO. Awards were presented by D CEO Editor Christine Perez, with support from Dennis Wright of Texas Regional Bank and Chris Clark of Forvis Mazars.
As part of the program, Thomas Montgomery, Managing Partner and CFO of Montgomery Capital Advisors, was honored with the Constantine “Connie” Konstans Excellence in Corporate Governance Award. The award is named for the late professor of accounting and information management at The University of Texas at Dallas, who was D CEO’s first recipient of the honor and a pioneer in corporate governance.
Other winners included: Most Innovative Finance Team – Aligned Data Centers; Outstanding CFO of a Large Private Company – Darin Patrizi of Summit Electric Supply Co.; and Outstanding CFO of a Nonprofit Organization – Lucas Wilson of Metrocare. For a full list of winners, click here.
Winners were selected by a panel of esteemed industry judges. This year’s panel included: Karyn Brown of Austin Industries; Jennifer Cuello of Eisner Amper; Robert Goudge of Frost Bank; Trey Knapp of Sewell Automative Companies; and Favor Lee of Lido Advisors.
