Dulcie’s Café food truck stolen on Cherry Street, Knoxville police say

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Dulcie’s Café, a family owned restaurant in Knoxville, is asking the community for help after reporting that their food truck was stolen over the weekend.

It happened just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Knoxville Police Department. The suspected theft happened at 701 N. Cherry Street.

A video from Dulcie’s Café’s Facebook page shows a white truck pulling into the parking lot and driving away with the trailer. KPD said the truck appears to be a Home Depot rental.

The restaurant said in a Facebook post that they are offering a reward for anyone with information.

Hi everyone, we are needing help from our community…
Our food truck was stolen last night. The timestamp is shown on the video.
If you have any information that would lead us to an arrest of this individual, you will be rewarded .
We are needing video from around the same time stamp….
Our trailer is valued at over $70,000 ….. This individual will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
Our trailer is fully covered on our insurance however, we will not tolerate the disrespect of someone feeling that they could take from us with no consequence and would like to get the individual prosecuted .
The police have already been notified .

Property crime detectives from the KPD are currently looking for any information related to the incident.
