ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A new study shows that when it comes to fast food, Georgians want to “eat mor chikin.”

The study by Restaurant Furniture, a commercial furniture manufacturer, analyzed Google search data from the last year to find out which fast food chain is the most popular by state, the company said in a press release.

The data showed Georgia residents searched online for Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A more than other chains.

McDonald’s came in second and Domino’s was third, revealing that Georgians have “a strong preference for chicken sandwiches over burgers and pizza,” Restaurant Furniture said.

Nationwide, Chick-fil-A ranked third with more than 11 million monthly searches across the U.S., behind McDonald’s at No. 1 and Domino’s at No. 2.

Other states that preferred Chick-fil-A were North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Delaware, according to the study.
