Food bank restructures staff
As local families face the compounding pressures of rising living costs, government policy decisions and economic uncertainty, All Faiths Food Bank has announced a series of strategic staffing updates to enhance its operations, amplify its impact and help more people across Sarasota and DeSoto counties. The organization has realigned its team structure and responsibilities to foster greater collaboration, efficiency and innovation across departments. By evolving its internal operations, All Faiths Food Bank aims to deepen its understanding of community needs and strengthen the systems that support long-term food security. These changes are intended to ensure the organization is aligned with current market demands and the ongoing threat of reduced government funding, and represent the next phase in the implementation of the food bank’s five-year plan to end hunger by addressing its root causes. As part of this effort, numerous team members in operations, programs, nutrition education and the DeSoto Food and Resource Center have received updated titles that more accurately reflect added responsibilities.
Other staff titles have also been adjusted to better align with day-to-day functions.“Every day, we see how complex and far-reaching food insecurity is in our region,” said Nelle S. Miller, president and CEO of All Faiths Food Bank. “These changes reflect our continued commitment to listen to our neighbors, remain nimble in the face of challenge, and provide not just food but pathways to stability, health and hope.”
