TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Free food will be available Tuesday morning in the capital city.
A Harvesters mobile food distribution for people in need of food assistance will take place starting around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the east parking lot of the Stormont Vail Events Center, located near S.W. 19th Street and Topeka Boulevard.
No identification or proof of eligibility is required to receive the food.

The only information that will be collected will be the recipient’s last name, zip code and the number of people in the family.
The event is sponsored by Topeka Turnaround Inc. in cooperation with Topeka Bible Church.
People in need of food should arrive as early as possible to get in line.
The event ends when all the food is distributed, which is usually around 11 a.m.
