United South Central will have two of its golfers advance to the 2025 Class A State Golf Tournament.

USC’s boys team member Brennan Olson, and USC girls team member Emma Heggen both qualified for State after the second day of the Section 2A Tournament was held on Monday, June 2, at North Links Golf Club in North Mankato.

Olson shot a 159 total for the two-day Section Tourney and was one of five individual golfers to earn a trip to State. His score was the second lowest of the five individuals.

This will be Olson’s first trip to the State Tournament. He missed the cut to go to State last year by just one stroke.

Sleepy Eye United boys team had the low score of 678 and will represent Section 2A as a team.

Heggen shot a 190 for the two-day Section Tourney to punch her ticket to State. Her score was the fourth lowest of the five individuals who qualified for State.

This will be Heggen’s third appearance in the Class A State Golf Tournament.

Sleepy Eye United will also be the girls team headed to State to represent Section 2A. Their team score was 813.

The State Class A Golf Tournament will be on June 10-11, at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker.
