CENTEREACH, N.Y. (WKRC) – A “social media prankster” was arrested after he allegedly filmed multiple people in their homes without their knowledge or consent and poured food on himself in restaurants, leaving the mess behind and posting the evidence on TikTok.
According to police reports and court documents obtained by the Associated Press, 21-year-old Kyle Vazquez was arrested on Monday after he allegedly acted as a public nuisance on April 29 by pouring a large tub of eggs onto his head in front of a restaurant, filming it, then fleeing the scene without cleaning his mess.
The next day Vazquez allegedly entered a Chinese restaurant and poured a bucket of beans onto his head while shirtless in the center of the business’ waiting room.
Most of the charges against Vazquez come from accusations that in May he asked three homeowners to use their restroom, then created an unspecified disturbance and started filming the people “without their knowledge or consent,” authorities reportedly said in a statement.
Vazquez reportedly posted all of the incidents to TikTok to his account with over 100,000 followers.
The would-be prankster was charged with six counts of crimes related to recording people without their consent and two counts of criminal tampering.
