
More than 70 Asian cuisine vendors are in Seattle Center for Panda Fest to celebrate culture and tradition. Special panda merchandise is available.
SEATTLE — Biu Biu Xu founded Panda Fest to celebrate everything about Asian culture with a special emphasis on the many flavors of the nations represented.
In addition to a diverse menu to taste and buy from vendors, More than 15 vendors, including artists, will be at the festival held at the Fisher Pavilion.
Xu said attendees will also experience live performances, including dance, K-pop, and more.
The festival has been held in other cities, but this is its first time taking over Seattle.
People need to look out for the festival’s centerpiece, a huge 15-foot inflatable panda. Xu said this is one of many great photo opportunities.
Xu is also the producer of DragonFest in New York City. Panda Fest has made stops in Atlanta, Boston, and Philadelphia.
Tickets must be purchased in advance on Eventbrite. General admission and VIP ticket options are available.
All general admission guests will receive two free panda-themed gifts.
VIP ticket holders will receive three free panda-themed gifts, including a special knit bag.
Panda Fest kicked off on Friday, June 6, and runs through Sunday, June 8. Festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
