
Henrietta, N.Y. — The annual Lao-Thai Food Festival attracted large crowds on Sunday at the Wat Pa Lao Buddhadham Temple.
Attendees eagerly lined up to savor the traditional culinary offerings that the festival is renowned for.
In addition to the food, visitors enjoyed live music and explored the temple’s picturesque Zen Garden and Golden Shrine.

“The biggest thing is to always bring the community together to share in the most authentic Lao Thai food that we could possibly offer,” said Phone Dumas, secretary of the temple. “It is one of our biggest fundraisers to support our local community temple here.”
Parishioners extended a warm welcome to all, emphasizing that the temple is a place of peace, community, and restoration for everyone, regardless of religious affiliation.
