There are some people paying OUTRAGEOUS amounts of money for used video games and if you have any at your house you may be in luck. All of the hype right now is around the Nintendo Switch 2 that is out now. Stores have even opened up super early and have extended hours because everyone is trying to get their hands on the Nintendo Switch 2.
But, lets throw it back for a second.
Some video gamers and collectors are paying over $7,000 for old, used video games.
If you are like me, you save all the boxes for EVERYTHING. Maybe, you have the boxes for old video games, too because if you do they are worth a ton of money.
Now a lot of the games that are able to fetch that kind of money do have to be in perfect condition and come with the box and directions. BUT if you are like my family we save every single box–it doesn’t matter what it is from a cell phone that we have had for years or a video game we just bought you just never know.
What else have you been saving that you are able to make some money off of? Did you save Beanie Babies ever? We held onto them and unfortunately they are not worth even close to the amount that they used to be worth. At one point people could have sold the purple Princess Diana Beanie Babies for thousands of dollars.
