
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Rick Ross is bringing back his annual Fayette County car show this weekend.
The fourth edition of the hugely popular Rick Ross Car & Bike Show will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday at the rapper’s estate off Highway 279 and 138 in Fayetteville, which he calls “The Promise Land.”

Body of 17-year-old boater recovered from Lake Allatoona, DNR says
Authorities found the body of a 17-year-old teenager in Lake Allatoona 24 hours after his unoccupied boat was found circling in the water Thursday.
Just before 5 p.m. on Friday, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said the body of Jackson Cole Croft, of Woodstock, was found.
Several types of sonar and divers were used in the search.

Explosion, fire reported at Villa Rica ammunition supply store was accidental, officials say
An explosion and fire at a Villa Rica ammunition supply store left locals shaken on Thursday night.
Authorities say they were called to the fire at Georgia Arms, which is off Industrial Court E, at around 8:30 p.m. The flames started in the store’s secured gunpowder storage building.

MARTA Five Points station disruptions begin as construction continues
Big changes are underway at MARTA’s Five Points station in Downtown Atlanta, which will impact bus and rail riders.
Starting Friday at 5 p.m., three of the four entrances to the station will be closed. The Forsyth Street entrance remains open for customers during the $230 million transformation.

Delta Air Lines to launch direct flights to Berlin for Falcons-Colts game
Delta Air Lines is flying fans direct from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Berlin, Germany, this November for the Atlanta Falcons’ game against the Indianapolis Colts.
The game is on November 9, and Delta is adding two non-stop flights on November 5 and 6, with two return options to Atlanta departing on November 10 and 11. It’s the first time that Atlanta has been connected to the German capital.
