The West Texas Food Bank, with generous support from H-E-B, invites families to attend the Kid’s Farmers Market — a fun, educational event that teaches children about the importance of fruits, vegetables, and healthy eating.
The market is from 10 a.m. to noon June 7 at the West Texas Food Bank — Odessa Campus, 411 S. Pagewood Ave., Odessa.
Kids of all ages are welcome to attend and receive free fresh produce while supplies last. Attendees can also enjoy recipe samples, jumpers, foam, and visit several community booths. The event is completely free.
Highlights include free fresh produce bags for kids (while supplies last); Cooking with Kayla: sampling station with nutrition info and healthy recipes; Community partners onsite with interactive booths; fun and educational experience for children and families.
