Five pro-Palestinian protestors stormed Cal Poly’s Financial Aid and Student Accounts office this afternoon, spray-painting graffiti on walls, furniture and computers, according to a campuswide email from President Jeffrey Armstrong. There were no physical injuries.
The individuals fled Administration & Finance (Bldg. 1) after Cal Poly Police officers arrived, Armstrong wrote. Two suspects were identified and are currently in custody for questioning.
Armstrong condemned the incident, stating there is “zero tolerance” for criminal activity on campus.
“Anyone who views this kind of shortsighted, disgusting and illegal activity as acceptable has no place at Cal Poly and will be rooted out,” Armstrong stated in his email.
This is a developing story, Mustang News will update as more information becomes available.
