Multiple injured after carnival ride derails in New Garden Twp., Chester County

NEW GARDEN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — A woman was injured after she fell off a carnival ride meant for children in Chester County.

It happened at Saint Rocco’s Church on Sunny Dell Road in New Garden Twp. around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fire department officials tell Action News that a mom got on kids train with her children because they were too small to ride alone.

The weight distribution made it tip and she fell off, hurting her shoulder.

While several injuries were initially reported, we’ve now learned only the woman was hurt and the kids are fine.
