Free summer meals program for kids to kickoff in Montgomery June 9

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Even though school is out, Montgomery Public Schools is still providing meals for kids over the summer, and they don’t even have to be an MPS student.

The MPS Summer Feeding Program will run from June 9 through July 3 providing a midday meal to children under 18. This service is open to all children, regardless of if they are an MPS student.

There are some limitations, however. Parents will not be allowed to pick up meals for kids who are not present. Children must show up in person and eat their meals on-site.
