Local Restaurants That Offer Sweet Deals For Kids’ Meals In Lubbock

Going out for a meal in Lubbock has gotten pricier for many reasons, from restaurants having to pay for more expensive ingredients and supplies to families simply having less “fun” money at their disposal.

Taking Kids Out To Eat In Lubbock Is A Good Thing, Actually

Taking the kids out for the occasional meal not only gives parents a break, it also (hopefully) teaches them important lessons about manners and how to behave in public.

So what’s the best way to manage your budget and give your kids this experience? Taking advantage of local kids’ meal deals, of course.

I looked over a bunch of Facebook posts and online lists for Kids Eat Free Deals, however, I ran into several that were expired or not confirmable.

Despite my best efforts, please remember that restaurants frequently change their promotions (and offering kids’ meals for free or at a discounted rate is a common promotional tool). If you are counting on getting the discount, I recommend calling ahead.

It’s also a good idea to tell your server that you intend to use the discount so they can ring it up right in the first place.

A quick note on tipping etiquette- it is best practice to tip on the amount the bill would have been BEFORE the discount, especially if your kids leave a mess.

Here are local Lubbock places that offer free or heavily discounted Kids Meals, including When, The Deal, and The Kids Menu (because if they don’t have anything your kid will eat- what’s the point?).

The list is in order, Monday through Thursday, and then Sunday (I found no Friday or Saturday deals, which I expected). So, skip ahead if you are looking for a specific day of the week.
