TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – The Discovery Science Place is preparing to host their annual birthday party and has invited the community to be on their guest list.
“We certainly welcome anyone within the community,” said board of directors’ member and co-chair of the Founder’s Day event Linda Atkinson-Pettee. “Kids are our favorite so anyone can come on out and celebrate with us”
The event will feature science themed activity stations including a coding station, duck races, cookie station, and face painting.
A race car from Josh Hawkins Automotive will also be present as well as several food trucks and a bounce house. The ice-skating rink will also be available.
The celebration takes places Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Discovery Science Place. The event is free to attend.
