
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Up to 20 area families will participate in an Adaptive Kids Triathlon, providing children with disabilities an active space to have fun.
The event, hosted by Mayo Clinic medical students, Therapeutic Health (EA), and AccessABLE Rec, will take place on June 7th from 9 a.m. to noon at Soldier’s Field Pool and Park. We Bike Rochester also provided support.
Melanie Brennan, PT, DPT and CEO at EA Therapeutic Health says that they the love to bring the world of possibility to those who often do not have the opportunity to try.
“Mayo Clinic medical students are providing a wonderful community service in planning this event and the additional support of We Bike Rochester and AccessABLE Rec to join EA to help make this event possible is a truly impactful community collaboration,” Brennan said.
While registration is closed, the public is invited to come and cheer on the kids.
