WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) – The man who murdered Madeline Kingsbury has voluntarily terminated his parental rights to the two young children they shared.
Adam Fravel murdered Kingsbury in March of 2023 and hid her body in a rural culvert north of Mabel. Her body was discovered in June 2023. Fravel was convicted of the murder in November 2024.
The children are now under the legal custody and guardianship of Kingsbury’s father and stepmom. Court documents say they plan on adopting the two kids.
Fravel is serving life in prison and appealing his conviction. The appeal is being taken up in federal court.
