5 things to do on the South Shore this weekend: First Friday fun with food trucks

Maybe it’s still a few degrees shy of beach weather, but June is here and the weekend will arrive fast, so it’s time to start daydreaming about what to do in the days ahead.

Head to Rockland for a card and memorabilia show that organizers say will have something for everyone. The budget-friendly event is only $5 to get in, and kids under 12 are admitted free.

In Braintree, “World Gone Crazy” returns to Curtain Call Theatre with its energizing mix of music and comedy.

The good vibes keep going with the free Quincy Pride Festival on Pageant Field or Hull’s scenic “Freedom by the Sea” Pride event at the Yacht Club. For anyone needing that extra push to let the change of seasons sink in, head over to Scituate for Opening of the Harbor, featuring food trucks, live music, boat tours and hands-on activities for all ages.

Check out the full details on each event below.
