Video Games June 2025: Mario Kart World, Street Fighter 6, & More

We are two days into the month, and this is the perfect time to share a list of some video games releasing this month, so you know where to spend some of your disposable income.

June 5th

Rise of Industry 2 (PS5, Xbox Series X|S): A business simulation game where players build and manage industrial empires, optimizing supply chains and production lines. If you grew up playing SimCity and Railroad Tycoon, this will be your jam.

Switch 2 Launch Titles – A few of the 24 titles are available to watch; the full list is available here.

Mario Kart World: The latest installment in the popular racing series, featuring new tracks and characters.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster: A remastered version of the classic JRPG with enhanced graphics.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition: An updated edition of the open-world RPG, optimized for Switch 2.

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut: The definitive edition of the action-adventure game, with additional content.

Street Fighter 6: This Switch drop will feature new characters and stages.

June 10th

MindsEye (PS5, Xbox Series X|S): An open-world single-player action-adventure thriller developed by Build A Rocket Boy, led by former Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Benzies.

June 13th

The Alters (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC): A sci-fi survival from the creators of the heart-wrenching game, This War of Mine, that draws inspiration from Death Stranding and many other games, giving the player difficult moral decisions.

June 17th

FBC: Firebreak (PS5, Xbox Series X|S): A team-based first-person shooter set in the Control universe, focusing on co-op gameplay. If you love SCP or Backrooms-type lore mixed with a shooter, this is for you.

June 26th

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (PS5): The sequel to Hideo Kojima’s action-adventure game, continuing the story of Sam Porter Bridges in a post-apocalyptic world.  Was connecting the world a good thing? What happened to BB? We’ll have to play to find out. Check out my article I wrote on the first game, also featuring the voice talents of Jonathan Roumie as Dollman.

Calamity Angels: Special Delivery (PS5, Nintendo Switch): A role-playing game where players step into the shoes of a fearless delivery team, braving dangerous terrains, monstrous threats, and rival couriers.

With a bonus drop, Hell is Us (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC) is not dropping until September. The demo is available for a limited time on STEAM from June 2nd to 16th.

Alright, that about sums up this month.  Any video games sound interesting? Let us know in the comments below.
