
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Attendees can expect a variety of indoor and outdoor educational activities!
On Friday, June 20 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Safe Kids Columbus and community partners will host a free summer safety event at the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital.
Outside the hospital’s main entrance, children will explore public safety equipment and first responder vehicles. Inside the hospital, children and parents will visit the many safety stations.
This event will give parents and children the chance to learn about different safety topics like water, vehicles, fire, pets, and much more.
Tri-City Veterans of Columbus will provide grilled hotdogs and hamburgers while supplies last.

- Columbus Police Department
- UGA Cooperative Extension
- Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office
- Department of Natural Resources
- Oxbow Meadows
- PAWS Humane
- Columbus Library
