WEST SALEM (WKBT) — West Salem’s yearly celebration of all things dairy has officially come to a close.
June Dairy Days, the village’s annual festival to honor Wisconsin’s dairy farmers, officially ended at 5 p.m. Sunday.
But the event ended on a high note, with the beloved car show.
More than 260 classic cars were entered into the competition and people could vote for their favorite one.
Jon Hetland, the show’s organizer, said the event is a great chance to connect with other classic car lovers.
“Meeting the people that come down and a lot of these cars are works of art,” he said. “I just get a kick out of seeing them.”
This weekend marked the 55th annual June Dairy Days in West Salem.
