LAURENS, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Laurens Police Department reports a new sinkhole opened on East Main Street on Saturday.
Police reported the sinkhole was next to the Tractor Supply and Chick-fil-A around 7:10 p.m.
First responders worked to assess the road along with the SCDOT, officials said.
Drivers were asked to use caution when driving through the area.
